Introducing Family Night Bible Study and Food Pantry
Thursday Nights" Bible Study 6—7 pm; Food Pantry 6-8 pm
Beginning January 11, 2018 ~~~ Childcare available for smaller children
(Note: Afternoon Women’s Bible Study continues to meet at 1 pm every Wednesday)
In keeping with our Mission Statement which says we are “a flawed but hopeful
community that exists to help all people take their next step towards Jesus Christ,” Family Nights will offer a men’s Bible study, led by Pastor Jay and an evening Bible study for women facilitated by Kathie Hempel.
We are told in Proverbs 22:6 to “start children off on the way they should go and even when they are old they will not turn from it.” We believe that study of the Word by parents, and all others, equips us all to live the way we should go and thereby increases our ability to be a more positive influence in the lives of all of God’s children.
Studies will focus on the previous Sunday’s sermon to better help us to apply the teaching to our lives and to prepare us for the upcoming Sunday’s message. The studies will be one hour in length to fit into busy schedules. Small children will be cared for with age-appropriate activities in the Children’s Sunday School room. Teens are welcome to participate in the studies or to hang out in either the teen room or to help with the little ones.
